Sport Alliance of Ontario presented Durham Region's own Alf Huggins with the Syl Apps Special Achievement Award.

This award was presented to Alf at the 2007 Ontario Sport Awards Ceremony held on April 24, 2008 at the Granite Club in Toronto.

Congratulations Alf.

The Ajax Soccer Club would like to announce that 9 girls from the Ajax Titans 1990 Girls Team signed National Letters of Intent on February 6th to attend US Schools in the fall of 2008. The 9 girl’s receiving these scholarships are all residents of Durham (8 live in Ajax & 1 in Pickering)
